40 ans séparent William et sa fille Mélissa lors de cette course mythique. Après un départ prudent, les deux coureurs ont enclenché le « turbo » à l’approche du 15ème kilomètre pour finir avec 7 minutes d’avance sur le temps planifié. L’objectif a été atteint grâce à quatre mois d’entraînement méthodique. William, lui, va se préparer maintenant pour le Xtratrail Lavaux à fin mai ( 34 Km + 1650m ) pour continuer avec les marathons de Zermatt, Jungfrau, Berlin, Londres et finir l’année avec celui de Dubaï.

Je suis ravie d’avoir aussi bien terminé les 20km de Lausanne. Une magnifique course qui traverse cette jolie ville ! Et le bonus ? Un entraînement intense avec mon papa qui se termine par un 20km réussi à merveille ! Peut-être à refaire ? Mais donnez-moi un peu de temps pour retrouver la forme (je ne suis pas une fusée comme papa ! 😅)

40 years separate William and his daughter Melissa in this mythical race. After a cautious start, the two runners switched on the « turbo » at the approach of the 15th kilometer to finish 7 minutes ahead of the planned time. The goal was reached thanks to four months of methodical training. William will now prepare for the Xtratrail Lavaux at the end of May (34 km + 1650 m) and continue with the marathons of Zermatt, Jungfrau, Berlin, London and finish the year with the one in Dubai.
Melissa:
I’m thrilled to have finished the 20km of Lausanne so well. A wonderful race through this beautiful city! And the bonus? An intense training with my dad that ends with a successful 20km! Maybe I should do it again? But give me some time to get back in shape (I’m not a superman like dad! 😅)
