Avec les 100km de l’Utra Mirage accomplis le 27 septembre 2025, William aura couru dans le Sahara Algérien (marathon), Marocain (Coupe du monde de Super Marathon) et Tunisien (100 km)
La 9ème édition de l’Ultra Mirage El Djerid a eu lieu le 27 septembre 2025 dans le désert tunisien. Dans la catégorie 100 km, 86 coureurs ont pris le départ / 79 (dont 14 femmes) ont terminé l’épreuve dans les délais. Pour William, très peu accoutumé des courses en auto-suffisance le grand défi a été de gérer l’eau (température env 35 degrés). Sans grand problème jusqu’au 90ème km, il a été pris de crampes au bas du dos (très douloureux mais pas dangereux). Par chance, il a pu compter sur un coureur tunisien (Aymen) qui, pendant les derniers 10km, s’est quasiment mis à sa disposition pour l’amener à la ligne d’arrivée. Un grand merci à Aymen pour sa patience, sa gentillesse et ses encouragements.
William termine ainsi sa 23ème course de 100km ( 21 en Suisse, 1 Antarctique et 1 dans le Sahara tunisien).

With the 100km Ultra Mirage completed on September 27, 2025, William will have run in the Algerian Sahara (marathon), Moroccan Sahara (Super Marathon World Cup), and Tunisian Sahara (100km).
The 9th edition of the Ultra Mirage El Djerid took place on September 27, 2025, in the Tunisian desert. In the 100 km category, 86 runners started the race and 79 (including 14 women) finished within the time limit. For William, who is not very accustomed to self-sufficient races, the big challenge was managing his water intake (temperature approx. 35 degrees). He had no major problems until the 90th km, when he was seized by cramps in his lower back (very painful but not dangerous). Luckily, he was able to count on a Tunisian runner (Aymen) who, during the last 10 km, practically put himself at his disposal to get him to the finish line. A big thank you to Aymen for his patience, kindness, and encouragement.
William thus completed his 23rd 100km race (21 in Switzerland, 1 in Antarctica, and 1 in the Tunisian Sahara).
