Ce marathon est un des 5 plus grands marathons du monde (45 000 participants). Le fait du jour est que le Kenyan ELIUD KIPCHOGE a battu le record du monde en 2h 1min et 9 sec.
Le climat tempéré était propice à battre des records. Ce qui n’a pas était le cas de William ! Parti sur des bases de 11km/h il a dû laisser filer le lièvre au 30ème kilomètre et terminer en roue libre. Il est certain qu’il n’a pas récupéré de son marathon de montagne à la Jungfrau (Suisse). Maintenant, il va se rendre à Londres pour courir le marathon dimanche prochain. Nous pourrons ensuite analyser le comportement et la récupération afin d’adapter si nécessaire l’entraînement en vue du 777 (7 marathons en 7 jours sur 7 continents.)

This marathon is one of the 5 biggest marathons in the world (45 000 participants). The fact of the day is that the Kenyan ELIUD KIPCHOGE broke the world record in 2h 1min and 9 sec.
The temperate climate was conducive to breaking records. This was not the case for William! He started at 11km/h and had to let the hare go at the 30th kilometer and finish freewheeling.
